Excursion – Post-conference tour – Nov. 13
The one-day tour on Nov. 13 has three parts. Enjoy Japanese Agriculture, Food, and Culture!
1. Marutou Tea Farm
Marutou Tea Farm is located in one of the largest tea plantation regions in Japan. You will mainly learn ① How green tea is grown and when it is harvested, ② How it is processed to be a product. Please enjoy learning about tea farm and taking photo with Mt. Fuji behind you and tea plantation.

2. KADODE OOIGAWA
KADODE OOIGAWA is run by JA (Japan Agricultural Cooperatives) to enhance and encourage sales of green tea, local vegetables and food products. You are expecting to eat buffet lunch in the restaurant adjacent to the station (The lunch fee is included in the excursion fee). You can also enjoy B.I.Y (Brew it yourself) experience and Tea processing study tour for 500 JPY each.
3. S-Pulse Dream Plaza
S-Pulse Dream Plaza is a complex facility by the ocean with shops, markets, restaurants, amusements, and theatre. You are free to browse around as long as time allows. Their popular attractions are Chibi-Maruko Museum and Sushi Museum. You can also ride on a tour boat that goes around Suruga Bay. Enjoy your small resort over coffee with exclusive Mt. Fuji right in front of you.
